Remembering…

Fears, Life and Happiness

Today is supposed to be my “S” blog for the revised A to Z Challenge, but I just can’t do it. Ever since that fateful day in 2001, September 11th has been ingrained in our minds and hearts as a day to mourn and a day to remember. I simply can’t just post some fun, completely banal post about the letter S on this day. Check back next Friday when I’ll continue my A to Z blogging challenge.

Instead, I encourage you today to hug your loved ones, tell them you love them, pray for those fighting for our country and for those who have lost family members, remember the ones you’ve loved and lost and never, ever forget.

There are still terrorists out there to fight against and we need to remember what happened on the day AFTER 9/11 too. Let’s pull together again as a country today.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. ~ Joshua 1:9 NIV
